Beyond organizing COVID-19 testing at national level, computerization of the process also is essential. To do so, the French Ministry of Health – with the Assistance Publique des Hôpitaux de Paris – is leading the creation and installation of a digital tool called the SI-DEP (Système d’Information de Dépistage) across the country. Comprehensive real-time data collection and immediate access to coordinated test results are made possible through this tool thanks to Enovacom, the leader in healthcare interoperability.

Our goal is to report tests carried out by healthcare institutions and laboratories on the SI-DEP platform. We then redistribute these results to the various stakeholders and institutions that need them. We also perform all data quality controls to ensure the data reported is complete and usable.

Enovacom's input

The number of new cases of COVID-19 in France is available every night thanks to the Enovacom teams. In addition to being responsible for recovering “upstream” data flows, the interoperability leader also is sending test results to public health stakeholders. These include Santé Publique France, the Health Data Hub (Caisse Nationale d’Assurance Maladie), the Caisse Primaire d’Assurances Maladie, the Direction de la recherche, des études, de l’évaluation et des statistiques (public statistical expertise in health and social services in France), and the Regional Health Agencies. We also perform data quality checks to make sure the information collected and transferred is complete.
